I have been involved in technology for 30+ years, the last 20 being done in development. I currently work as a Solutions Architect for a DOW 30 company. For the past ten years I have been doing work involving a great # of open source technologies. I have a fulltime job, do a few consulting gigs on the side and run five websites. I actually have time for other things as well believe it or not.

This is now the fifth year I have been running this site. I started it as I wanted to give something back to the internet as it has been such a great resource for me over the years, as has open source software. I do wish I had the time to make this exchange of information bi-directional, but that takes a great deal more time, something that is scarce for me with all my other interests.
